1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group going to organize the Annual Scout Week on this year as well, scheduled from 19th to 25th September 2009.

RANSAI 2008 is the 6th International Scout Event which is organized by the 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group and the Old Rajans Scout Association to celebrate the 95th Anniversary of scouting at Dharmaraja College and the 30th Anniversary of Old Rajans Scout Association.

The 1st kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group is the most recognised and the largest scout group in Sri Lanka. We have over 500 Scouts, Rovers and Scouters in our group. Our history spans over 95 years and we have organised many international scout events, being the first and only individual scout group from Sri Lanka to do so.
